The STEAM project exists to add the A (arts) to the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) educational initiative.

MICA’s role is to provide a global network to promote and coordinate research into the theoretical basis and practical applications of the STEAM project. To that end, MICA has created a public website for STEAM.
